The first two weekends of the fall soccer season have come and went with much success for the Springfield Soccer Club.  League play began both in the Lake Country Soccer Leauge and the KC Heartland League with almost all teams active with their first games of the season.

The SSC U18 Girls also competed in some friendly games in Chanute, KS  which were hosted by Neosho Community College.

Labor Day weekend saw three teams attend the Gallagher Friendlies in St. Louis, MO.  The rain shortened event saw all teams getting two games.  The SSC 95/96 I Girls went 2-0, the SSC 96/97 I Boys went 0-0-2 and the SSC 95/96 I Boys went 1-1.  Overall, the fall season is off to a fantastic start for all teams
